Silcartex - Plenatex

The Silcartex - PlenaTex and Silcartex Bar - PlenaTex Bar product ranges comprise breathable membranes and multilayer synthetic underlays manufactured entirely from polypropylene for roofing and wall applications requiring high levels of water tightness, vapour management, mechanical resistance, and long-term durability.

Both product ranges consist of a multilayer structure composed of two outer nonwoven layers and a central functional film, bonded through ultrasonic welding technology. This manufacturing process does not require the use of adhesives or additional chemical bonding agents and provides structural continuity, material homogeneity, and a high degree of cohesion between the layers. These characteristics contribute to the dimensional stability and mechanical performance of the products throughout their service life. In addition, all three layers are UV-stabilised to support the preservation of the functional properties of the products under demanding service conditions.
