Thin Laminate

Thin high pressure decorative laminate is a decorative surfacing material used for interior applications such as furniture, cabinets, wall panels, partitions, and doors. Unlike compact laminates, thin high pressure decorative laminate sheets are intended to be bonded to a suitable substrate such as plywood, MDF, or particleboard to achieve the desired strength and finish.Thin high pressure decorative laminate is manufactured from multiple layers of specially selected kraft paper along with a decorative paper layer, all impregnated with thermosetting resins. The core layers are treated with phenolic resin to provide structural strength, while the surface layer is infused with melamine resin to enhance visual appeal and surface protection.
