This microchannel heat exchanger is used as condenser for air conditioner. It is an air to refrigerant heat exchanger. As condenser, microchannel heat exchangers remove heat from air to refrigerant. Compared with traditional copper tubes and aluminum fin heat exchangers, this microchannel heat exchanger is mainly made from aluminum, it has a higher efficiency, it needs 30% less refrigerant charge, and it has a 50% ~70% weight reduction.
