Steel slabs produced via electric arc furnace in unalloyed form

Unalloyed steel slabs manufactured at the NLMK Italia plant in Verona via the Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) route. Primary steelmaking inputs include ferrous scrap, ferro-alloys, coal, graphite electrodes, fuels, oxygen, and auxiliary consumables. Scrap is melted in the EAF, refined and alloyed in the ladle furnace, and continuously cast. The resulting steel is available for further downstream thermal processing in accordance with customer specifications
