Emergency Conversion Kits (ELD, VD, VDHP, and ECU) are self-contained emergency lighting LED drivers designed to convert standard LED luminaires into fully functional emergency lighting units. These products are widely used as essential life-safety components in a broad range of building types and occupancy categories, including commercial buildings, hotels, hospitals, shopping centres, airports, industrial facilities, and transportation infrastructure. 

Typical application areas include the retrofit conversion of existing LED luminaires for escape route lighting, anti-panic lighting, and hazardous area lighting applications. ECU60 series models are compatible with LED modules operating at a forward voltage of 10–55 V, while ECU240 series models are suitable for LED modules with a forward voltage of 50–240 V. DALI2 variants offer full integration with digital lighting control systems. These products feature a slim 21×30 mm cross-section design for space-efficient luminaire installation, selectable 1/3-hour emergency durations, and non-maintained operating mode, powered by integrated Li-FePO4 batteries with up to 10-year design life. 

Their compact form, ease of installation, and broad voltage compatibility make them a highly flexible solution for upgrading existing lighting installations to meet emergency lighting standards in accordance with EN 60598-2-22, EN 1838, and EN 50172.
