Urea–formaldehyde (UF) resins are particularly suitable for use in the wood industry for the production of plywood, particleboard, MDF panels, etc. They are also used in the manufacture of abrasives and foundry molds. UF resins are produced in various grades and with different characteristics to suit specific production processes, plant configurations, and customer requirements.
