NATURBERO WOOD PELLET

The product consists of wood pellets manufactured from 100% biomass, using sawdust derived mainly from wood processing and furniture industries. The production takes place at the manufacturing site in Urnieta (Spain). Upon arrival, the sawdust is stored and, depending on its initial moisture content, dried to the required level using a dryer powered by biomass fuel. The dried material is subsequently milled and pelletised using presses, without the addition of binders or additives. After pelletising, the product is cooled and sieved to remove fines, which are reintroduced into the process. The finished pellets are then either delivered in bulk or packaged in 15 kg plastic bag, which constitute the declared unit of this EPD.

The wood pellets are intended for energy generation through combustion in suitable heating systems and comply with the requirements for wood pellets class A1 according to EN ISO 17225-2, as certified by DINplus.
