The product investigated in this EPD is Green Portland Cement (PLC) produced at company’s production plant (Yamama Cement Company, Al Bataha St. Yamama Cement Building) in southern region of Riyadh. This type of cement offers comparable strength to standard Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) while providing enhanced workability, making it highly suitable for general structural concrete, architectural finishes, and masonry applications. PLC Green Cement has demonstrated enhanced durability performance, including resistance to chloride penetration and sulfate exposure, based on available test results and product performance data.
