Environmental Product Declaration – Coated Aluminium Coil | Orbit Aluminium Industries

Coated aluminium coil for construction applications (cladding, facades, roofing, rolling shutters and signage), consisting of an aluminium substrate with a zirconium-based conversion pre-treatment and a cured organic topcoat. This EPD represents the production-weighted average of all coating systems produced at the site during the reference year 2025: PUPA (50.3%), PE (33.1%), HDPE (11.7%), PVDF 70:30 (2.1%), PU (1.9%), zirconium pre-treatment (0.8%) and PEPA (<0.1%). All systems share the same aluminium substrate and pre-treatment, differing only in topcoat chemistry. Main processes: degreasing, zirconium conversion coating, roll-coating of primer and topcoat, oven curing, slitting, finishing and packaging.
